How to Win NPR 10 Lakh in Nepal's Taxpayer Incentive Lottery

To have a chance of winning NPR 1,000,000 (10 lakh) or the daily prize (around NPR 133,000) through Nepal's Taxpayer Incentive Prize Program, the participant need to follow the official rules set by the government.

Rule  : Buy goods or services worth more than NPR 100 for your personal use and always ask for an official VAT/PAN invoice (tax bill). Commercial purchases are not eligible( for example goods for business like computer and vehicle )

There are two way of getting registered for this lottery 

1. Automatic register :Pay digitally whenever possible (QR, mobile banking, debit/credit card). Eligible digital transactions are automatically entered into the lottery system, so you usually don't need to register them manually

2. By manually : first go to prize.ird.gov.np  than and choose the cash option than by scrolling down we can see the bill detail by filling all the necessary item we should click on generate coupon then it will generate coupon which would make us eligible for the lottery .            

 THINGS TO REMEMBER :

✔ Spend over NPR 100
✔ Ask for an official VAT/PAN bill
✔ Pay digitally if possible
✔ Register cash bills online
✔ Keep the original receipt safe
✔ Save your Gift Coupon Number
✔ Check draw results regularly

✔ Claim the prize within the deadline if you win         

The Taxpayer Incentive Prize Program 2026 has already started.

• The Ministry of Finance approved and brought the operating procedure into effect on July 21, 2026.
• Eligible purchases made on or after Shrawan 1, 2083 (July 17, 2026) can be entered into the program, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
