Kathmandu – The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) is set for its mini auction, with 150 players shortlisted from a total of 458 registered players, according to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
The shortlisted players are divided into three grades:
Grade A – 8 players
Grade B – 35 players
Grade C – 107 players
The mini auction will be held on Saturday.
Grade A Players:
Adil Ansari
Sharad Vesawkar
Arjun Saud
Dev Khanal
Dilip Nath
Pawan Sarraf
Surya Tamang
Suman Gautam
Among them, Adil Ansari and Pawan Sarraf did not feature in the first edition of the NPL, while the other six players have been released for the second edition.
This year’s mini auction is expected to bring exciting team combinations as franchises prepare for Nepal’s biggest domestic cricket league.
